Plexr is a "soft surgery" device that generates small quantities of pure plasma (high-temperature ionized gas) to sublimate superficial layers of skin. This allows natural resurfacing and tightening of tissues without invasive cutting or the risk associated with deeper tissue impact that can be associated with some laser treatments.
Plexr can be used anywhere there is crepey loose skin. The most common areas include the upper and lower eyelids, the frown lines, around the lips, and the neck.
The average person needs 2 to 4 treatments.
You can expect redness, swelling, and some tiny scabs for 3-14 days. During this time, you may use an ice pack for 10 minutes at a time. Everyone's skin is different, but most patients look normal at 2 weeks. Healing will continue to take place in the skin for up to 6 weeks.
After care includes gently washing your face twice a day, patting it dry
(no rubbing). You will be provided with after care facial products to use on
the treated area. You may use a physical SPF and use provided concealer
the day after the treatment.
